Capcom increasing number of major games created

Capcom have announced that they are going to increase the number of big games created after their sales last fiscal year showed a noticeable slump.

This new strategy by Capcom means that more big-name games such as Resident Evil and Street Fighter may be released, but it may also mean that Capcom are sacrificing quality for quantity. So how are Capcom combatting this problem? They’re enlisting the help of western developers for their games.

Capcom are hoping that by getting other developers to help create their games, not only can they release more big games every year (possibly doubling their current output), but also slash development time to less than a few years. Do you think Capcom are going to release more high-quality games? Or do you think we’re going to get a flow of poor games? Comment below!

  1. Flow of poor games and I totally agree just a daft strategy. I think they should make less games and put more effort in making their titles.
I think Resident Evil needs a reboot as well and Devil May Cry should just be scrapped.
A new Dino Crisis would be quality as well.

There you go Capcom I just re-did your business strategy in ten seconds lol.
