No Resident Evil: Revelations and Super Street Fighter IV 3D this fiscal year

Sorry guys, doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any3DS zombie slaying or, um, super street fighting this fiscal year.

Capcom have announced that both of their big 3DS releases, Resident Evil: Revelations and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, will not be ready in time for the current fiscal year, which is when the 3DS is rumoured to be released. This means that more likely than not, these two games will not be launch titles. Capcom made the following statement.

We broke the news at E3 2010 that development is underway for ‘Resident Evil: Revelations (tentative title)’ and ‘Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition,’ but we do not expect these titles to be ready for release this fiscal year.

Has this affected your decision for buying a 3DS? Or does it not matter to you? Comment below!

Nope, this won’t affect me buying a 3DS. As long as Zelda: OoT is a launch game. The 3DS will have plenty of wind in the sails to have a great launch and first year. (when it is out that is.)

  2. resident evil is the only reason im buying a 3ds. jill and chris r back baby.other titles im excited about r dead or alive and kingdom hearts
