Third Professor Layton game given new European name, release date

Newest game follows previous installments with autumn release and follows Pandora’s Box with name change for Europe.

The third Professor Layton game to be released in Europe has been given the name Professor Layton and the Lost Future, a slight change from the American name, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. The game has also been given a release date of October 22nd.

Lost Future follows Layton and Luke as they recieve a letter from Luke, from 10 years into the future. Layton and Luke discover that future London is in turmoil, with the British Prime Minister missing after testing out a time machine. They travel into the future and meet up with future Luke, and together they must help bring London back to how it used to be.

The game offers over 165 puzzles, as well as a host of bonus content and downloadable puzzles via Wi-Fi. It also includes a Super Hint feature, which gives a big clue as to what to do as the expense of two hint coins.
